Your dedication to your loved one does not protect you from fatigue, stress, and other difficult emotions; and you may feel overwhelmed wondering how to take care of yourself AND your loved one. Together we will learn breathing techniques to calm the nervous system and decrease anxiety, basic yoga poses to keep your muscles strong and body balanced. You will also learn organizational tools that will allow you to become a successful, well-balanced caregiver. Join us this evening and let someone who was once a Caregiver take care of YOU for an evening.

This Sunday, I’m hosting 11 men and women at my place. I met this group through an amazing organization, The Dinner Party.
We are a community of mostly 20 and 30- somethings who’ve each experienced significant loss. We get together over potluck dinners to talk about the ways in which it continues to affect our lives and how to thrive in #lifeafterloss.
Look forward to pictures on Monday!
On Sunday February 21st,from 1:00- 3:00pm , Miami Sports Chiropractic & Jugofresh will present the uplifting workshop; Sundari-Bliss Taking Care Of You. Led by Yoga teacher, and Certified Caregiving Advisor Iana Malcolm, this is the workshop for you if you are a Caregiver of a loved one who is terminally ill. A former Caregiver herself, Iana will teach you the whole body approach she used to navigate this exhausting, frustrating and overwhelming time. You will learn how feeding the body well and cultivating a mindfulness practice are the keys to success and your mental sanity.
This workshop will include:
- The chance to tell your story and hear from other Caregivers.
- You will learn breathing practices to calm the nervous system and decrease your anxiety.
- You will learn simple Yoga poses to build strength in your body and improve the flexibility needed for those long nights in hospitals and sitting bedside.
- You will learn the tools Iana Malcolm used to become a successful, organized and effective Caregiver.
- You will end your session with a long, and much needed, guided deep relaxation so that you can have a little YOU time of rest and peace.
We are giving away 7 FREE seats to this workshop. To RSVP please contact Iana Malcolm at email@example.com

Taking Care Of YOU
A discussion led by, Certified Holistic Cancer Care Coach and Caregiving blogger, Iana Sundari. Iana will teach you the tools she used to survive caring for, losing her parents and keeping her sanity in check at the same time. This discussion will allow you to be honest about your journey as a Caregiver, or as someone who has recently lost a parent, and be surrounded by the only other people who really “get it”. You will laugh, cry and emerge feeling stronger and more capable than ever. This workshop also includes a Yoga class designed to offer rest, relaxation and a retreat from your grief.
Space is limited. RSVP by calling (305) 932-2218 or emailing email@example.com
So excited to have my writing included in this event. You can find this company, The Dinner Party, in the May issue of O, Magazine where they discuss how they use food and conversation to heal the grief caused by losing a loved one.
